Blue's Eurovision entry misses out on top 10

Blue's Eurovision entry I Can - which they will perform at the contest in Dusseldorf next Saturday - has missed out on a top 10 place in the UK charts.

The song, which is Blue's first single since 2004, debuted at number 16 in the charts following its release last weekend.

The band jetted out to Dusseldorf on Friday and rehearsed the song at the city's Esprit Arena - where Eurovision is taking place - over the weekend.

Prior to leaving, they told press they would pose naked if they won the contest - but added if they scored the dreaded 'nul points' they would leave the country.

Meanwhile, Emmerdale star Adele Silva - the ex-girlfriend of band member Antony Costa - has lent her support to the band.

"I love the song - it's catchy," she told The Sun. "It's got to represent the country. I wish them well."

According to Ladbrokes the boys are currently third favourites to win the contest with odds of 7-1. France's operatic number is the favourite followed by Estonia, with Azerbaijan and Hungary also tipped to do well.

Meanwhile Jedward's odds have shortened to 13-1 to win the contest for Ireland following positive word of mouth from Dusseldorf on their early rehearsals.

The wacky twins will perform their track Lipstick in the second semi-final on Thursday in a bid to make Saturday's final.

The UK, as one of the main financiers of the contest already has a place in the final along with Italy, Spain, France and Germany.
