Louisa's nervous about Eurovision dance-off
 

The Bill's Louisa Lytton is feeling the pressure of representing Britain in the Eurovision Dance Contest this weekend.

Louisa, who won over the judges on Strictly Come Dancing in 2006, said she's had to adjust to the fierce competition of dancing against professional couples.

"I've never been put in this situation before, with Strictly we all know each other so it's kind of more of a friendly atmosphere," she said.

"But here it's really weird to walk into a room of all these sequins and people you've never seen before, it's mad how serious they take it all. It kind of makes you have to step up a level.

"It's a great honour to be representing the UK. It's obviously very nerve-wracking at the same time. But I just hope that we make ourselves proud and our family and then the rest of the UK after that.

"I haven't trained since the age of three like the rest of them, so I'd never be a professional but I love it."

The 19-year-old will be dancing with her professional partner from the show, Vincent Simone.

He said: "It's very difficult for me to tell as a professional if the couples are going to be good enough or not because we haven't seen them performing yet, but by the end of the week we will. So hopefully they won't be good enough and me and Louisa are going to definitely do our best."

The second annual Eurovision Dance Contest will shown on BBC 1 at 8pm on Saturday 6 September.
