Lloyd Webber: 'I'd put Jordan in one of my shows'

Andrew Lloyd Webber has said he would give Jordan a part in one of his musicals - 'if she could hack it'.

The musical maestro - who created Cats, Evita and The Phantom of the Opera - told Closer magazine that if the glamour model had the talent, he wouldn't turn her down.

Lloyd Webber said: "If Jordan could hack it, I'd put her in one of my shows. But there's a long way between being able to sing a bit and really holding a stage."

Meanwhile, the judge of talent shows I'd Do Anything and How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? has promised to return in 2010 to search for a new star for the stage version of The Wizard Of Oz.

He revealed: "I've been asked to do another Saturday show this year, but I think I need to give the casting show a rest. I have my own musical in Phantom 2 to get on with and bits and pieces to do in America. There will not be another custom show with the BBC next year - with me anyway. But I will do a search in 2010 to find Dorothy and possibly Toto the dog.

"The problem is with Phantom 2 it means I can't produce the show in full. So I can't commit to a BBC show until 2010."
