Nancy Sullivan and Leanne Dobinson, who were contestants in Maria and I'd Do Anything, are to take over key roles in the West End production of Les Miserables.
Nancy will take over the role of Eponine in the musical that's played for 23 years at the Queen's Theatre, while Leanne will play Cosette.
Legendary producer Cameron Mackintosh said: "Although both Nancy and Leanne may have missed out on the respective roles they were vying for, their talents did not go unnoticed.
"I was delighted to give them the chance to win parts in Les MIserables, which I'm sure they'll be terrific in."
Mackintosh added that he'd also recently cast Joseph finalist Daniel Boys in Avenue Q, in which he'd become a core cast member.
The producer paid tribute to shows like I'd Do Anything for bringing new audiences to musical theatre in the West End and also unearthing new talent.
