I'm a Celebrity: Simon's exit leaves them blue

Former boyband star Simon Webbe was the seventh star to be voted out of the jungle in Wednesday night's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The Blue star was in the bottom two with former Star Trek crewman George Takei, but the public decided Simon wouldn't make Friday night's final.

Simon told Ant and Dec he'd learnt a lot about himself during his 18 days in the jungle, especially confirming his fears of spiders and water.

Simon commented on camp pest David Van Day: "He touched my buttons as soon as he entered the camp. He wasn't honest. But do you know what, I think he's a nice guy underneath... He's got a game plan. I expect to see him the final."

Earlier, Martina Navratilova earned two stars our of a possible five in the Wash 'n Cry bushtucker trial, which required the tennis legend to fish around in a tank full of foul-smelling detritus and vile insects for clothes with stars on them. Eeuurgh!

Simon and Joe underwent the Chest Challenge, during which the two had to traverse two high wires over a ravine while clutching onto each other dressed in bright yellow spandex jumpsuits. They succeeded, but where's the dignity!

For their efforts, they won three - yes, three - marshmallows each.
