Peter Andre: 'I can be the new Robbie Williams'
10/08/2009 - 14:19

Peter Andre has said he hopes to become the new Robbie Williams.
The Mysterious Girl singer hailed the Angels star as the king of comebacks for his successful solo career after leaving Take That.
Peter told The Sun: "I believe I can do what Robbie Williams did - people gave Robbie s*** for being the fat kid from Take That when he was doing Freedom, he felt how I feel now."
But with both their albums soon to go head-to-head in the charts, he added: "We're going head-to-head. I don't like losing. Robbie is a nice guy and I've always admired him."
Peter, 36, is keen to revive his music career, but know it will take work.
He said: "When Elton John, Rod Stewart and people like that were signed up they had seven-album deals.
"It will take me two or three credible albums to be mentioned in the same breath, but that's what I aspire to."
