Stacey: 'I can't believe he finally asked me!'

Stacey Solomon has revealed she's set to tie the knot with decorator boyfriend Aaron Barham after a romantic proposal in New York's Central Park.

The former X Factor contestant - who is expecting the couple's first child together - was whisked off her feet by the 24-year-old, who reportedly popped the question on a carriage ride through the park.

Stacey, who was snapped returning to Heathrow Airport wearing a sparking engagement ring and beaming at her husband-to-be, tweeted: "I can't believe he's finally asked me."

Her spokesman, Max Clifford, confirmed to The Sun: "Stacey and Aaron are engaged and we're all absolutely thrilled for them.

"They're a lovely genuine couple who get on so well. It's a wonderful finale to what has been a tremendous year for her."

Stacey - who won last year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - is expecting the couple's first child in May. She already has a three-year-old son, Zac, from a previous relationship.

When she announced her pregnancy earlier in the year she said that Aaron was her soulmate.

Stacey said: "We are really excited. I'm looking forward to everything, knowing that I'm sharing it with the person I want to spend my life with."
