TOWIE star plays down Mark Wright's jungle romance

The Only Way Is Essex star James 'Arg' Argent has played down hopes of Mark Wright sparking up a romance with I'm A Celebrity... jungle-mate Emily Scott.

The TOWIE star, who finished second to Dougie Poynter in the final of Saturday night's show, had hinted that he might see a future with the Australian model, who entered the camp midway through the series and sparked up a close relationship with him.

"Emily is a very good looking girl," he said, "and a lovely girl to be around. We'll see when I get out."

However Arg has since denied that they are likely to become anything other than just good friends.

"He actually called me at 2am, he said I was the first person he called," Arg said.

"When I spoke to him about Emily he really played it down, he said she's a nice girl and they got on.

"From what I gather they are good friends, they enjoyed each other's company in the jungle, but I'm not sure it's more than that."

Arg added that he had "genuinely" thought Mark was going to win the show - and was shocked when he finished second.

He had been the bookies' favourite to be crowned King Of The Jungle but Dougie ultimately pipped him at the post.
