Gavin's having an 'awesome time' after spilt

Charlotte Church's ex Gavin Henson claims he is having an 'awesome time' in the wake of their split.
The 28-year-old Welsh rugby player - who is father to Ruby, two, and Dexter, 17 months, with the Over The Rainbow judge - was with Charlotte, 25, for over five years, but they ended their relationship in May, just two months after announcing their engagement.
Gavin told Closer magazine: "I'm having such an awesome time at the moment. I like going out to parties and enjoying myself - I'm only young."
Asked about his break-up he said: "That's just the way it goes, isn't it? That's life. But I'd rather not comment about my personal life at the moment if that's OK."
Gavin, who recently filmed two high-octane reality TV shows - Human Guinea Pig and 71 Degrees North - is a very proud father.
He said: "I can't even remember what it was like before [having children] to be honest. But the kids are so unbelievable. They're the best thing I've ever done.
"It's awesome. It gives me a different focus. I was probably all about rugby and stuff before, but it's nothing like that now. I think they look more like me [than Charlotte], and they're just brilliant.
"Ruby has me wrapped round her little finger, she really has. I'm a little bit tougher on Dexter - trying to bring him up well, you know. He's a proper boy."
