Jane angry at Soapstar's Martine

Jane Danson agreed with the viewers' verdict when she was voted off Soapstar Superstar - but the actress is still peeved with Martine McCutcheon.

The Coronation Street star failed to wow the judges with her rendition of the Pussycat Dolls hit, I Don't Need A Man. After exiting the series, Jane, 28, said 'it was no surprise', adding that her performance was 'rubbish'.

But The Sun reports that it was a comment from former soap star Martine that really rubbed Jane up the wrong way. Martine, 30, called Jane a 'pretty little thing' after hearing her performance.

The Corrie actress has now hit back by saying: "She was very patronising. I am not much younger than her and I'm a wife and mother. I was very disappointed she said that."

Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden, 24, became the latest celebrity to leave the Zoe Ball-fronted show, when he was voted off on Sunday night.
