Is Tuffers having doubts about Strictly?
28/08/2009 - 10:55

Phil Tufnell seems to be having second thoughts about taking part in Strictly Come Dancing already, even though the new series doesn't start for three weeks.
The show has been won twice by Phil's fellow cricketers - Darren Gough in 2005 and Mark Ramprakash in 2006 - but it seems he's not confident of repeating their success.
Writing on his Twitter page, the 43-year-old said bookmakers' odds of 10-1 on his winning the show were not generous enough.
"10 to 1 - who dreamt up those odds? It should be at least 20 and I have to wear high heels, nice," he wrote.
"Oh my god what have I done? I'm bricking it, I'm going to need all the support I can get - this is going to be tough. Help."
And he seemed unhappy at some of the outfits, writing: "Tangerine is so not my colour."
The former Middlesex spinner is no stranger to reality TV, having won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2003, and will be hoping his partner Katya Virshilas, making her Strictly debut this year, can get his footwork up to scratch.
