No Spandex for The Hoff: 'It reveals too much'

David Hasselhoff insists he won't be wearing any figure-hugging Lycra when he appears on Dancing With The Stars in the US.

The former Baywatch star is one of the celebrity dancers competing on the new season of the show - America's version of the UK's Strictly Come Dancing - alongside singers Michael Bolton and Brandy, Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol, Jersey Shore hunk Michael 'The Situation' Sorrentino and Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey.

"You won't see me in Spandex because it reveals too much of The Hoff," he insisted.

Despite nobody having a great deal of experience, David doesn't rate his chances.

"As far as being a fluid dancer, I'm not going to win this thing, that's for sure," he laughed.

"It's all about attitude, it's all about telling a story. I'm going to be big on attitude and big on interpretation," he insisted.

The Hoff also said his plan is to 'stand tall, put your chest out and look cool!'

*Dancing With The Stars screens exclusively on Watch from September 23 at 9pm.
