Speculation over Bleakley's One Show future

TV presenter Christine Bleakley may be set to quit The One Show later this year after being flooded with work offers, according to the papers.

The Sunday Mirror reports that Bleakley, who has co-hosted the show with Adrian Chiles since 2007, has already told colleagues she plans to leave and pursue other opportunities.

"Christine just said she felt she'd been at the show for a few years and the time was coming to move on," an insider told the paper.

"She feels there are lots of opportunities coming her way."

However a BBC spokeswoman told the paper, "We don't comment on talent contracts," while Bleakley herself said she had no immediate plans to leave the show.

The 30-year-old, who is currently dating Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard, began her career with BBC Northern Ireland, and also presented the BBC Two talent show Let Me Entertain You.

She was also a contestant on the 2008 series of Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in fifth place.
