Strictly's Camilla and Hollyoaks' Kevin to wed

Strictly Come Dancing champion Camilla Dallerup is to tie the knot with her ex-Hollyoaks star boyfriend Kevin Sacre.

The pair got engaged two weeks ago on a short break in Capri, Italy, according to reports in The Sun.

Danish-born Camilla, 35, is now looking forward to her dream wedding - even if the proposal was a bit of a nightmare.

Kevin, 31, who played Jake Dean in the Channel 4 soap, admitted: "I fumbled around for the ring.

"I tried to say something profound about there being beautiful rocks and here's another - luckily she didn't hear that."

Camilla, who won Strictly last year with Holby City's Tom Chambers, laughed: "It was quite possibly one of the worst proposals - but for us it was perfect."

The pair will marry in July 2010.

Camilla told Hello! magazine: "I'd like a beach wedding. We go to so many elegant parties so I want to be more relaxed."

Camilla split from fiance and fellow Strictly professional Brendan Cole in 2004.
