Strictly's Jason Donovan: 'In it to win it'

Jason Donovan is so hungry for Strictly success he has been pleading with his professional dance partner to train him seven days a week, according to reports.

The former Neighbours star is competing for the glitterball against actress Chelsee Healey and McFly drummer Harry Judd.

Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly was quoted as telling The Sun: "He has been in it to win it since week one.

"He's so committed he even begs partner Kristina Rihanoff to train on Sundays, usually the dancers' only day off.

"He absolutely loves the whole Strictly experience and admits it has been life-changing for him."

Tess said she couldn't predict who would be this year's winner of the BBC One show.

She said: "It isn't a one-horse race. Jason has a huge following and the determination to succeed at all costs."

But she added "everyone's wild about Harry" and that Waterloo Road star Chelsee is "loved by kids, their mums and grandmas alike".
