Katie Price lined up for 'Apprentice' role?

Reality TV star Katie Price has made a bid to appear in the next series of The Apprentice, according to the papers.

The Sun reports that Price - aka glamour model Jordan - was introduced to Sir Alan Sugar by actress Amanda Holden at a Christmas party.

And Holden suggested to the tycoon that he might consider hiring Price to be involved in one of the tasks.

"I'm not the brightest," she reportedly told him, "but I know how money works."

According to the paper, Lord Sugar has agreed to consider the idea, saying that Price - who has earned millions through products including books, TV shows and clothing would be an "asset" to the show.

The sixth series of The Apprentice will be screened next summer.
