Raef: 'Nice guy Tom should win The Apprentice'
08/07/2011 - 14:01

Ex-Apprentice hopeful Raef Bjayou has said nice guy Tom Pellereau should win this year's Apprentice.
Posh Raef, who competed on the show in 2008, thinks the good-natured inventor could defy expectations and be picked to go into business with Lord Sugar.
Speaking at the opening night of a new run of Yes, Prime Minister in London's West End, the dapper entrepreneur said: "I thought Melody was going to win but she's obviously been ousted, so I'm going to go for the wild card - Tom the inventor.
"It's a shock he's still in, but he's in for a reason. Lord Sugar likes the fact he's going to perhaps give a man 250,000 pounds to create a James Dyson-style range of products."
Raef said the BBC1 show, now in its seventh series, has "lost a bit of its lustre" but insisted it was "still good".
And he predicted fans will enjoy one more series before bosses pull the plug on the programme.
"I'd bet the family silver there'll be one more and then after that I think they'll reach the conclusion you can't flog a dead donkey.
"We don't want to go down the route of Big Brother where people are getting sick and tired of what they're seeing."
He added: "Maybe Channel 5 will take it up."
Yes, Prime Minister is showing at the Apollo Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue.
