The Apprentice's Katie Hopkins to marry on TV
04/02/2010 - 17:46

The Apprentice's Katie Hopkins - who competed to become Sir Alan Sugar's aide in the BBC show in 2007 - is to marry her fiance, Mark Cross, on reality TV.
The 34-year-old former business consultant is taking on 1980s pop star David Van Day, WAG Lizzie Cundy and impressionist Francine Lewis in a celebrity edition of Living TV's reality show Four Weddings.
Katie - who also roughed it on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! - hit the headlines again after The Apprentice when she took a job at the Met Office, where she met and began a relationship with married design manager Mark.
The couple now have a one-year-old son, Maximillian William.
David Van Day is tying the knot with journalist Sue Moxley, whom he once famously dumped on live television.
Lizzie Cundy is renewing her vows to her former football star husband Jason and Francine Lewis is marrying her partner Joel Ryan.
The celebrities host a range of themed ceremonies from Arabian and Bollywood to a country wedding in Devon.
In the show, four brides or grooms attend each other's weddings and score their dress, ceremony, food and the day as a whole.
They are bidding to win a luxury honeymoon, and their appearance fees go to charity.
The second series of the show - in which viewers see the contestants verbally savage their rivals' big days - begins in late March and runs for 13 weeks.
A further celebrity special will feature ex-Steps singer Faye Tozer, glamour model Michelle Marsh, former EastEnders actress Carol Harrison renewing her vows and Big Brother winner Pete Bennett, who is to wed his best friend, Cherry Costin.
