Cowell: 'Cheryl could be an X Factor judge again'
25/01/2012 - 10:37

Simon Cowell has insisted that he and Cheryl Cole have made up following their fall-out.
The TV mogul, who sacked Cheryl from the US X Factor last year, told The Sun that the door was still open for her to return as a judge on the British show and joked that the singer missed him.
"She is a grown-up and she understands that in this business when something happens it happens publicly," he said.
"That wasn't a great week for me. When I came back last year I was public enemy number one and I wouldn't want to go through that again."
Simon said that he last spoke to Cheryl in November, and her jokey tweet about his age on his birthday 'was the ice-breaker'.
He said: "She could be a panellist again if she wanted to - 100 per cent.
"I don't know if she would. I think she probably misses me."
According to The Daily Mirror, Simon also confirmed that host Steve Jones will not return to the next US X Factor.
"He got a lot of stick. I don't think he did a bad job, but like America's Got Talent, there is a Brit limit on the show," he said.
