Dial 007 to vote for X Factor's Ruth

The X Factor finalist Ruth Lorenzo was delighted to discover Dame Judi Dench is backing her to win the show.

The Spanish singer was excited enough to meet the legendary actress at the Quantum Of Solace premiere, but was even more pleased when she learned Judi - who plays James Bond's boss M - was a fan.

A source said: "Ruth was gobsmacked when Dame Judi told Ruth she and her family watch her every week and have been voting for her.

"Dame Judi particularly loved Ruth's version of Purple Rain and told her she has to release it as a single."

Meanwhile, it was revealed fellow finalist Eoghan was completely overwhelmed meeting his movie hero Daniel Craig at the Bond premiere on Wednesday night and didn't know what to say to him.

The insider said: "Eoghan lost his cool and got all tongue tied."
