Jedward capture attention in Hollywood

John And Edward may have exited The X Factor, but the boys' infamous performances have caught music experts' attention in Hollywood.

American Idol judge Randy Jackson revealed he'd been keeping a close eye on what's been happening with the twins at the CNN Heroes tribute in Hollywood.

"I've been watching the X Factor real close," Randy explained. "I actually think the twins are quite funny, I mean the twins are absolutely hilarious... It's a very interesting season over there, very interesting."

Randy hopes the next season on American Idol will be equally as interesting when new judge Ellen DeGeneres joins Simon and Randy to give her opinions in place of Paula Abdul.

"It's cool - she's been a friend of mine for a long time so she's going to keep it funny and interesting. Lot of changes, but it's going to be hot, it's going to be really, really great."
