John and Edward for I'm A Celeb?

X Factor rejects John and Edward could be heading for the I'm A Celebrity jungle, according to reports.

The tuneless twosome, who were booted off the ITV1 talent show on Saturday night, are tipped to replace Jordan, who quit the show on Sunday.

ITV bosses apparently approached John and Edward's X Factor mentor Louis Walsh asking to sign them up for the jungle - and Louis is reported to have flown to Dublin to convince the twins parents it's a good idea.

It's thought that John and Edward - nicknamed Jedward - could earn £50,000 each from their stint and Louis has until 5.30pm today to persuade the boys to take part.

A source close to the twins told The Sun: "ITV are determined to get the twins. A flight can be arranged in time so they could be in camp by this weekend.

"It would be a nailed on ratings-winning coup if Louis manages to persuade them it's a good move for their career."

GMTV host Ben Shepherd asked Jedward on Monday if they would be interested in joining the jungle.

John asked: "Can we do that? Are we celebrities?" Edward added: "I'm A Celebrity - do we have that title?"
