Kate Moss pockets 50K to appear on X Factor

Supermodel Kate Moss has been offered £50,000 to appear on
The X Factor as a guest judge, according to reports.

The Mirror says that Moss is being lined up to fly to Italy later this month for five days of filming, during which she will help Louis Walsh pick his final acts.

Although contracts have yet to be signed, the 35-year-old is said to have verbally agreed to appear on the show.

Reports suggest that Simon Cowell personally invited her to take part. The pair became friends after being introduced by tycoon Sir Philip Green.

"Kate is a huge fan of the show and was in the audience quite a few times last year," a source told the paper.

"She met Simon through Sir Philip and they are now good pals. There are still a few details to iron out but all being well, she is slated to appear."

Moss met Walsh when they were both judges on a spoof Britain's Got Talent style show in London.

"They really hit it off so their collaboration seems to be the perfect pairing," the insider added.

Robbie Williams is also among the star names who will make guest appearances in the series, which returns on August 22.
