Louis Walsh considers 'eye surgery'

X Factor judge Louis Walsh is on the verge of having an operation to remove his eyebags on Simon Cowell's advice, according to the papers.

The Sun reports that Walsh - who also had his teeth done for the new series of the show - has said Simon has urged him to sort out the wrinkles around his eyes.

And he has been given details of a top surgeon by former judge Sharon Osbourne.

"Sharon is my advisor," Louis told the paper, "she looks great."

The 57-year-old is hoping that a younger image might help launch his career in the US.

Cowell is currently in talks to make an American version of The X Factor, and Louis is keen to be involved along with fellow judge Cheryl Cole.

"I'll do whatever Simon wants to get the gig in America," Walsh said, "I might have my eyes done - upper and lower to get rid of the bags.

"Simon said, 'I'll organise it and you can stay with me afterwards," he added, joking, "I'll have to groom myself the Simon way."
