Lloyd Daniels has missed out on a place in
"I'd like to thank everyone for keeping me in this long," he added, "and I can't thank Cheryl enough."
"I'm really proud of him and he needs to be really proud of himself," Cheryl added, "it's amazing that he's come this far. And he's going to blossom into a little star."
Saturday's show saw Lloyd receive a mixed response from the panel for his performances of Take That's Million Love Songs and Elton John's I'm Still Standing.
Simon told Lloyd he needed to put in "more effort and commitment after his first song, while Louis said he would "surprised if you're still standing" after he had performed his second.
The result means that both Dannii and Cheryl each have one act in the semi-final, while Simon Cowell has two.
Sunday's show also featured performances from Rihanna, while the five finalists performed a group version of Scissor Sisters' I Don't Feel Like Dancing.
