Barbara Windsor wins Lifetime Achievement (VIDEO)
 

Veteran EastEnders star Barbara Windsor won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Soap Awards on Saturday night.

The remarkable star celebrates 60 years in the business in 2010 and said: "I don know that I'm known for two of the great British institutions and that is Carry On and EastEnders.

"I love them both and I'm so proud to be a part of both of them. My heart leans a little... No, it leans a lot towards EastEnders because 14 years ago they gave me an opportunity to reinvent myself."
