Chris Fountain: 'Being a Duckworth is big' (VIDEO)
16/05/2011 - 10:58

Chris Fountain feels under pressure to uphold the Duckworth name in Coronation Street.
The former Hollyoaks actor recently joined the ITV1 soap as Tommy Duckworth, the grandson of Weatherfield legends Jack (Bill Tarmey) and Vera (Liz Dawn), now deceased.
Chris was speaking at the British Soap Awards 2011, where Bill Tarmey picked up the award for Best Exit and was also presented with the lifetime achievement award by his former on-screen wife Liz Dawn.
Chris told whatsontv.co.uk: "To take on that name is a big thing especially because I'm there without Jack and Vera and I'm kinda holding up the name by myself.
"But I'm enjoying every minute of it."
He also revealed what the future has in store for Tommy.
