Kate Kelly eyes 'spectacular' exit for Becky VIDEO

Katherine Kelly is hoping for a 'spectacular' exit from Coronation Street.

Katherine, who recently announced she would be quitting the ITV1 soap after five years as fiery Becky McDonald, said she's glad Becky is not being killed off.

Speaking on the red carpet at this year's British Soap Awards, Katherine said: "I'll miss everybody here - they're the nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to work with. And I'll really miss Simon Gregson."

She added: "I'd hate for Becky to be dead! I'd feel like I did it because I was the one who said I wanted to go."

"Becky always has spectacular weeks, so hopefully she'll have a spectacular exit!"
