Watch Jake Wood explain why Greg should fear Max

EastEnders star Jake Wood says his character, Max Branning, has got what it takes to beat competition for his ex, Tanya.

Jack told whatsontv.co.uk at the British Soap Awards that he believes Max can compete with her new husband, Greg, 'in every way'.

"I think his character Greg is unaware of Max's feeling. How long that will remain we'll just have to wait and see," said Jake.

Jake also revealed that he didn't miss Lacey Turner, who played his ex lover Stacey... But only because he'd just had dinner with her, Charlie Clements (Bradley) and Jo Joyner (Tanya)!

The British Soap Awards screen on ITV1 on Wednesday evening.
