Brooke Vincent tipped for huge Corrie deal

Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent will reportedly be offered a huge 'golden handcuffs' deal to remain in the soap, according to the papers.

According to the Mirror show producers are worried that the 19-year-old, who plays Sophie Webster in the show, will want to move to Wales to be closer to her footballer boyfriend Josh McEachran - who is currently on loan to Swansea City.

Helen Flanagan, who plays her sister Rosie, has already quit in order to move to Swansea with her boyfriend Scott Sinclair - who also plays for the club.

And the paper reports that Brooke could be in line for a six-figure deal to remain in Weatherfield.

"One of the reasons Helen left was that she found the commute from Manchester to Swansea to see Scott hellish," an insider said.

"Bosses know Brooke is in love with Josh. Part of the negotiations, as well as more money, will be making sure her filming schedules ensure she has a decent amount of time to get to see him.

"Brooke is hugely popular with the younger viewers and is seen as an essential part of the show's future," the source added.
