Former Coro star Bruce Jones for X Factor spoof?
03/02/2010 - 10:13

Coronation Street star Bruce Jones - who played Les Battersby in the soap - is set to act on TV for the first time since leaving the Street.
He will play an entertainment manager in That Band - a comedy spoof of The X Factor.
Bruce joined Coronation Street's Scott Wright - Sam Kingston in the soap - and Hollyoaks' Lee Otway, who played David 'Bombhead' Burke, to put together a pilot.
A source told The Sun: "Overdrive are an X Factor-style boyband.
"There are a lot of groupies, sex scenes and general bad behaviour - it's like Skins meets Phoenix Nights.
"Bruce plays the band's manager trying to keep the boys in check."
Sky and E4 are both rumoured to be interested in the show.
