Michelle Keegan reveals nerves about live Corrie

Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan has confessed she will be 'so nervous' if she is part of the soap's live episode.

The Weatherfield serial has confirmed that one programme will be broadcast live this year as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebrations.

But Michelle, who plays Tina McIntyre, told the Daily Star: "I think everyone feels lucky to be a part of it. But I would panic. I'd probably wave at the camera and say 'hi' to my mum.

"I'd shy away from being part of a live episode. I'd run to the toilets because I would be so nervous.

"Trying to remember your lines and say them live would be a nightmare."

Michelle added, however, that she would be a part of the live Coronation Street episode if she was required.

Rival soap EastEnders broadcast a live episode in February for its 25th anniversary.
