Stephanie Beacham set for Corrie role?

Ex-Dynasty star Stephanie Beacham could be about to swap Hollywood for the cobbles of Coronation Street.
The actress - best known for playing Sable Colby in hit US series Dynasty in the 1980s - is in the running to play Ken Barlow's love interest in the soap, reports the Daily Mirror.
The 61-year-old British star is auditioning for the role, although other actresses are also trying out.
A source said: "Nobody could quite believe it that she was going for a part; it would be a great coup to get Stephanie on board. There were plenty of excited people."
The insider said the new character 'will be involved in some terrific scenes' with long-timer Ken, played by William Roache.
Stephanie's other small-screen credits include Bad Girls, Beverly Hills 90210 and SeaQuest DSV. She also took to the dancefloor in Strictly Come Dancing last year.
