Terry to return to Corrie as lapdancing club boss?

Coronation Street bad boy Terry Duckworth will return to the cobbles as the owner of a lap dancing club, it has been reported.

The troublesome son of Jack and Vera - played by Nigel Pivaro - has been at the centre of a number of schemes during his appearances in the soap, including selling his son Tommy to his parents-in-law.

It was recently confirmed he would be returning to Coronation Street. Now it has been claimed Terry will cause outrage in Weatherfield when he opens a strip club in the area, according to the Daily Mirror.

Coronation Street bosses have already promised that Terry will cause trouble for all the residents, and especially his son Tommy, played by Chris Fountain, when he returns in April.

Producer Phil Collinson said: "I'm very excited to be welcoming arch villain Terry Duckworth back.

"This time though he'll not only be blighting the life of his son Tommy, but the lives of every resident with a typically audacious scheme."

Nigel left the soap in 1993 and made a brief return in 2008 for Vera Duckworth's funeral.
