Constantly struggling to keep her menfolk on the straight and narrow, Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) wants a quiet life on Coronation Street. Fat chance!

2008 First seen refusing to pay for a kitchen installed by Joe McIntyre, claiming to be unhappy with his work. Moves into No6 with her family and tries to befriend neighbour Gail Platt. Despairs at the feud between son Gary and David Platt.
2009 Starts work at Roy's Rolls. Furious when Eddie tries to con Roy. Devastated when Gary is jailed for burglary (set up by vindictive David Platt). Eddie proposes. Helps Chesney Battersby-Brown after he steals Rosie Webster's car.
2010 Struggles to cope when her son returns from Afghanistan, suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which is exacerbated by the explosion and tram crash.
