Gary Windass (Mikey North) is not afraid to live on the wrong side of the law. He likes the ladies, too - which also gets him into trouble!
2008 Steals the Platts' kitchen in revenge for David Platt, Tina McIntyre and Graeme Proctor setting fire to his family's kitchen. Moves into No 6 Coronation Street - next door to the Platts - with his parents Eddie and Anna. Sleeps with Rosie Webster.
2009 Steals copper piping with his Uncle Len from Bill Webster's yard and points the finger at Joe McIntyre. Provokes David into a fight but avoids prison when David's girlfriend, Tina McIntyre, testifies that David threw first punch. David sets him up for burgling Audrey Roberts' house and he goes to prison. Gets someone to beat up David. Released in August and tells David to stay out of his way.
2010 Joins the Army after insulting Ted in Remembrance Day. But goes AWOL after he's scared by the possibilities of war. Eventually returns and is posted to Afghanistan. Returns three months later injured and emotionally damaged. The explosion causes his post-traumatic stress disorder to manifest itself.
