Joshua Peacock
He's been through a lot, but Joshua Peacock (Benjamin Beresford) is proving to be a resilient lad.
2002 Born on 8 April, but mum Maxine doesn't know whether his dad is her husband, Ashley Peacock, or Dr Matt Ramsden, with whom she had a one-night-stand.
2003 Maxine is murdered by serial killer Richard Hillman. Ashley discovers he isn't Josh's dad but vows to bring him up. Claire Casey becomes Josh's live-in nanny and surrogate mum.
2004 Dresses up as Spider-Man for Ashley and Claire's wedding.
2006 Real dad Matt turns up and Ashley eventually agrees to Matt having regular access.
2007 Feared dead in a house fire but found abandoned in a park (by Claire's mentally unbalanced friend Casey, who had set the fire).
2008 Becomes friends with Simon Barlow.
2009 Claire starts to nurture his football skills. Stung by bee and goes into anaphylactic shock. Janice Battersby helps save his life.
