1989 Moves into No11 with husband Jim, and their sons, Andy and Steve.
1990 Gets job as barmaid in The Rovers.
1991 Falls pregnant and considers an abortion but Jim talks her out of it.
1992 Daughter Katie is born prematurely and dies after just a few hours.
1993 Quits The Rovers for a job at The Queens. Finishes with Jim when he falsely accuses her of sleeping with landlord Richard Willmore but they're back together by New Year's Eve.
1995 Has a pregnancy scare and Jim has a vasectomy. Turns to bookie Des Barnes for comfort after rows with Jim.
1996 Jealous Jim beats her up and she chucks him out. Jim is arrested for assault. Gangster Fraser Henderson takes a liking to her.
1997 Moves in with Fraser. Held hostage with Jim and Andy by one of Fraser's henchman when Fraser is arrested. Later beds Jim.
1998 Moves back in with Jim when he is paralysed after an accident. Falls for Jim's physio Michael Wall and they run off to Milton Keynes.
2000 Called back to Weatherfield by Jim after Steve is assaulted and Jim's charged with murdering his attacker, drug dealer Jez Quigley. Dumps Michael and remarries Jim before his trial. Jim's jailed for eight years.
2001 Leaves to be near Jim in Leicester.
2003 Jim escapes from prison and tracks her down to Blackpool after hearing she may be having an affair. Jim is recaptured.
2004 Back in Weatherfield for Steve and Karen's wedding, she discovers she now has a granddaughter, Amy. Fred Elliott offers her a job behind bar at The Rovers.
2005 Decides marriage to Jim is over when his sentence is extended. Starts dating musician Vernon Tomlin.
2006 Buys into The Rovers with Steve and becomes the new landlady.
2007 Has an affair with drayman Derek. Marries Vernon, despite Jim's violent attempt to stop wedding.
2008 Has affair with bookie Harry Mason. Ends marriage to Vernon, who leaves Weatherfield. In December, starts relationship with Lloyd Mullaney, Steve's friend and business partner.
2009 Goes to Spain to look after poorly son Andy. Returns with Andy for Steve and Becky's wedding in August. Dumps Lloyd.
2010 Becomes closer to daughter-in-law Becky after her miscarriage. Begins a relationship with builder Owen, but abruptly leaves for Spain when she learns that Owen arranged for ex-husband Jim to be beaten up.
