Nick Tilsley
Businessman Nick is a mother's boy who has a vicious side and likes to wield power over his enemies.
1981 Born to Gail and Brian Tilsley.
1999 Heads off to live with relatives in Canada after his teenage marriage to Leanne Battersby crumbles.
2002 Returns to Coronation Street for Gail's wedding to Richard Hillman.
2003 Becomes deputy to Mike Baldwin at Underworld. His sister Sarah's boyfriend Todd tries to kiss him. He has a fling with hairdresser Candice before returning to girlfriend Maria.
2004 Proposes to Maria, but Leanne manages to split them up. Leaves Weatherfield for a new job in Nottingham.
2009 Arrives back in Weatherfield to meet Gail's new doomed fiance Joe McIntyre. Unwittingly picks up Joe's daughter at a bar.
2010 Sneakily manages to buy a significant share in Underworld, much to Carla's disapproval. Leaves Underworld when it burns down and sets up a rival knicker factory before setting up wine bar the Joinery. Tries to woo Leanne away from her fiance Peter. Survives the gas explosion which destroys the Joinery.

Ben was born in 1972 in Newcastle. He achieved early fame in Footballers' Wives, in which he appeared as Conrad Gates, before starring in Casulaty for three years.
