Tina McIntyre
A headstrong young woman, Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) learned at a young age to stand on her own two feet.
2008 First appears in January, age 16, arguing with Gail Platt in the Medical Centre. David Platt likes her style and they start dating. Unhappy at home, she moves in with the Platts. Aborts David's baby, with Gail's support and without his knowledge. Ends relationship with David. Feeling guilty, gives David alibi after he pushes mum down stairs when he finds out about abortion. Reconciles with David. Father Joe starts dating Gail. Works in Jerry Morton's kebab shop. Gets a second job working for Rita Sullivan in The Kabin.
2009 Refuses to lie in court for David over his fight with Gary Windass and they split up. Begins relationship with Jason Grimshaw in June and they start property developing business, buying flat above The Kabin. Shocked when her father becomes addicted to painkillers.
2010 Devastated by the death of her father, Joe. Believes that gail murdered him. Struggles to deal with her grief and becomes house-bound, though Graeme Proctor does his best to coax her out of her isolation. They eventually become a couple, much to the displeasure of her ex, David.
