2007 Turns up at Underworld as a client and starts wining and dining widowed factory boss Carla Connor.

2008 Dumped by Carla, who loves brother-in-law Liam Connor but he wins her back. Evicts Jed Stone from his home because his house is in the way of his property development. Tries to bully Kevin Webster into selling up because he wants the land. Learns from Rosie Webster that Carla has slept with Liam. Hires Jimmy Dockerson to kill Liam during his stag night. Marries Carla. Strangles Jed for blackmailing him and thinks he's dead - he's not. Moves Jed to Wigan in exchange for his silence.

2009 Denies widow Maria Connor's accusations that he killed Liam. Confesses his part in Liam's death to a horrified Carla, who leaves him. Seduces hairdresser Natasha Blakeman. Grows close to Maria and delivers her baby when she goes into labour during a walk on a beach. They start a relationship and he moves in with Maria in August.
