The factory girl grew up in the shadow of her brasher twin sister Jessie. Since Jessie’s departure she’s found her own voice, although she still lets men push her around.

Zaraah was born in 1988 and grew up in London. She went to the famous Italia Conti stage school and starred in children’s TV show Girls in Love from the age of 15. Zaraah won the role of Joanne while she was still at school and made the move from London to Manchester. As well as being an actor, she is a qualified dance teacher in tap, ballet and jazz.
