Simon vows to succeed

Simon is devastated when Heston reveals the research he's done for his assessment has been refuted in a medical rag. Heston reassures Simon he can just add an addendum mentioning the new research, but Simon is pessimistic and ends up working late, starting again from scratch.
After hearing of the trainee doctor's Parkinson's, Julia silently fears she has the same symptoms, but rules this out after talking to a relative.
Meanwhile, Elaine's self belief as a doctor is tested by a musician who refuses to listen to her diagnosis, let alone seek further help. But as Julia continues to snap at everyone, it seems only Elaine can calm her down.
Julia is eternally grateful - and Elaine is reassured that some people will accept her help!
