EastEnders' Sid Owen and fiancee 'don't share bed'

EastEnders star Sid Owen and his fiancee Polly Parsons have revealed they sleep in separate bedrooms.

The couple, who are back together after breaking up earlier this year, say their domestic arrangement means they can have their own space, and actress Polly can avoid Sid's snoring.

Sid, best known as Walford mechanic Ricky Butcher, told OK! magazine: "We took each other for granted, which is why we have our own space, even at home - we have our own bedrooms."

Polly said: "We have separate bedrooms and separate bathrooms! Sid has a bad snoring problem, he's like a rhino, it's unbelievable!

"After we went travelling I had to be honest with him about it and he said that he liked having his own bed anyway so it was perfect."

She added: "People think it's weird but it works for us."

The couple had originally planned to get married in September, but are now considering setting a date for next year.
