Jeff Goldblum: 'I love British soaps'

Jeff Goldblum has confessed he is a big fan of British soaps Coronation Street and EastEnders.

The Hollywood star of Jurassic Park and The Fly told The Sun he catches up on the shows whenever he is in the UK.

Jeff said: "I have them going constantly. I can't tear my eyes away from them."

The Independence Day star was in London to present Fresh Meat with the best new programme gong at the British Comedy Awards.

Jeff is the latest in a long line of Hollywood stars to admit to enjoying British soaps.

Coyote Ugly star Piper Perabo has admitted she watches Corrie when she is staying in the UK.

And rapper Snoop Dogg is such a big fan of Corrie he reportedly has a Rovers Return-inspired bar in his house and even wants a cameo on the show.
