Spoiler: EastEnders character in pregnancy plot?

An EastEnders actress has been spotted filming while wearing a fake baby bump, sparking speculation the character will fall pregnant.

Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater in the soap, was seen on location sporting the prop.

Stacey, who suffers from bipolar disorder, is currently receiving treatment after being sectioned.

Prior to this, she had several sexual encounters as her mental health deteriorated, and more recently had a one-night stand with Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott).

A Walford source said: "Actress Lacey Turner is not pregnant, and pictures show her wearing a baby bump while in character as Stacey. But we just have to wait and see what's in store for the character. She's had a turbulent year, and perhaps she's due some happiness."

Fellow Walford resident Ronnie Mitchell (Samantha Womack) is soon to reveal that she is pregnant.

Zainab Masood (Nina Wadia) is expecting a baby too, and Heather Trott (Cheryl Fergison) has recently given birth.
