Wendy's celebrity friends admit shock at cancer

Messages of support have been flooding in for Wendy Richard after she revealed she has breast cancer.
Shane Ritchie, who played Alfie Moon in EastEnders, told The Sun: “My heart goes out to Wendy. I had some of my happiest days with her and all I can do is wish her health for the future.”
Chat show host Paul O’Grady, who is a close friend, said: “I’m in shock – she kept this to herself. She told me nothing, she’s so brave.”
“I’ve sent an email saying I’m here for her, but she is a toughie and I’m not giving up hope.”
Wendy revealed that she was diagnosed with a more aggressive form of cancer in January, three years after getting the all-clear from her second bout of breast cancer.
