Zoe Lucker to join cast of EastEnders

Footballers Wives' star Zoe Lucker is set to join the cast of EastEnders, according to the News Of The World.
The paper reports that the 35-year-old - who was most recently seen as a contestant in strong>Strictly Come Dancing - will appear in Albert Square as Vanessa, a glamorous businesswoman who quickly sets her sights on Max Branning.
She will be seen on screen for the first time when her character visits the car lot - with sparks reportedly flying between her and Max, played by actor Jake Wood.
"Zoe is perfect for the role," executive producer Bryan Kirkwood told the paper.
"The character is a strong, confident force of nature who will play Max at his own game."
"I'm a huge fan of the show," added Zoe, "and I'm really looking forward to working with Jake. I can't wait to get started."
