2007 Jack arrives in Walford for his nephew Bradley Branning's wedding to Stacey Slater. He buys nightclub from under the nose of Ronnie Mitchell and offers her a partnership. They open R&R. Helps Phil Mitchell to find his daughter, Louise. Knows Phil was responsible for Kevin Wicks' death and blackmails him into selling the car lot.
2008 Jack and Ronnie become lovers. Ex-wife Selina moves to France with daughter Penny. Has a fling with Ronnie's sister, Roxy. Decides the woman he really wants is brother Max's wife, Tanya. Plans to move overseas with Tanya and her kids. Humiliates Max at gunpoint and warns him to stay away. Dumped by Tanya. Discovers on Christmas Day that he's the father of Roxy's baby, Amy.
2009 Reveals he loves Ronnie. They get engaged. Ronnie wants a baby, he doesn't. Ronnie leaves him. Sells car lot to Archie Mitchell and uses money to buy Ronnie's share of the club.
Nov 2009 His tryst with Sam Mitchell is revealed.
Dec 2009 Confronts Archie for causing so much grief in Ronnie's life; warns him to stay well clear of her.
Feb 2010 Tells Ronnie that he wants to spend his life with her - they kiss and end up spending the night together. He confronts Bradley about Tiffany seeing him wash blood from his hands the night of Archie's murder. Tries to persuade him to go the police. Pays a bent copper to make Bradley's DNA sample disappear, then tries to persuade him and Stacey to go on the run.
April 2010 Is shot by Billie's friend Kylie in R&R and, although he survives, he's told he may be paralysed down his lefthand side for ever.
July 2010 Comes home from the clinic for Ronnie's birthday. He's in a wheelchair, but his prognosis is good and he's told he may make a full recovery.
Nov 2010 He and Max put the frighteners on Harry Gold and warn him to stop harrassing Vanessa. But the threat backfires and he's abducted by two hoods and locked in the boot of a car. He's in danger of missing his wedding to Ronnie, but Max springs him in the nick of time. Ronnie becomes Mrs Branning.
