Jay Brown
With no parents, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) is a bit of a tearaway but really just wants to be loved.
2006 His grandma dies not long after the death of his mum. Meets his granddad Bert Atkinson for the first time, who's forced to take him in.
2007 Long-lost dad Jase Dyer turns up and Bert quits Walford. Goes off the rails after discovering that Jase was away for so long because he was in jail. Kidnaps Wellard.
2008 Stabbed after falling in with a local gang. His dad is murdered. Billy Mitchell becomes his foster father. Blames Jase's fiancée, Dawn Swann, for his father's death and plans to burn down her home but Billy stops him.
2009 Billy tells him the truth about the night his dad died. Kidnapped by gang to prevent Billy testifying at father's murder trial. Billy rescues him.
April 2010 Moves into Heather's with surrogate parent Billy.
